4th European Agroforestry Conference 28-30 May 2018
The 250 participants (farmers, researchers, NGOs, advisors, policy developers) of the 4th bi-annual Conference of the European Agroforestry Federation met on 28-30 May 2018 in Nijmegen, the European Green Capital in The Netherlands, with the explicit focus on “Accelerating inspiring transitions towards agroforestry as a sustainable land use, including the role that agroforestry can play to mitigate and adapt to climate change’, and pursuing the aim of ‘having 50% of farmers adopting Agroforestry by 2025’”.

The 2nd European Agroforestry Conference, EURAF2014, was held in Cottbus, Germany from the 4th to the 6th of June 2014 under the theme “Integrating Science and Policy to Promote Agroforestry in Practice”. The conference happened at the same time as the new Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) was being implemented across Europe
1st European Agroforestry Conference 9-10 October 2012
The first European Agroforestry Conference was held in Brussels, Belgium, from the 9th to the 10th of October of 2012 under the theme “What priorities for European Agroforestry?”. The event gathered around 100 participants from 17 European countries and delegates from America and Africa. This was the first time European Members of the Parliament discussed the topic of agroforestry and listened to policy proposals formulated by EURAF.
